Jul 9, 2008 - is this ustad hashim on tabla? sounds like him playing. It seems that when he plays with ustad sarahang, it brings out the best in him. I've only heard a couple performances of the two together but it is also sarahang's best performances.

Jul 9, 2008 - There are two recordings from an HMV LP released in India of the Ustad Sarahang available on youtube which feature Ustad Hashim. They are the Hussaini Kannada and Bhankar.

Jul 9, 2008 - ON Ustad Sarahang's LP recordings in India is was not Ustad Hashim, it's Pandit Sadashiv Pawar, he used to perform with Ustad Abdul Halim Jaffar Khan a lot, but i can assure you it wasn't Ustad Hashim.
