Star Wars: The Clone Wars is an upcoming American 3D CGI animated television series created by Lucasfilm Animation, Lucasfilm Animation Singapore and CGCG Inc.[4] It is currently set to debut in August 2008.[5] It is set in the fictional Star Wars galaxy, during the same time period as the 2003 Star Wars: Clone Wars series. Each episode will have a running time of 22 minutes,[5] to fill a half-hour timeslot. Star Wars creator George Lucas says "there will be at least 100 episodes produced."[6] Dave Filoni, who has worked on Avatar: The Last Airbender, is the supervising director of the series.[7] Genndy Tartakovsky, director of the first Clone Wars series, will not be involved with the production,[8] but character designer Kilian Plunkett referred to the character designs from the 2D series when designing the characters for the 3D series.[9]

Aug 17, 2008 - I thought this was a movie? You said in info that that it was a T.V. show. Well if it's made by the maker of Avatar its got to be better than what it looks like....Because this looks horrible compared to star wars or avatar. Btw plz see my Star Wars vids. =D

Jul 27, 2008 - Yoda actually spoke with normal vocabulary and Count Duku looks incredibly goofy. I wonder if there will be any other CGI Star Wars spin-offs.
