Jul 23, 2008 - I think what much of society is lacking is the ability to sit back and look at the real facts... Paganism is seen as evil, devil worship, etc in many modern stereotypes, and yet it is a religion that does not believe in actively pushing its beliefs upon others, however Christianity has used violence to create its foothold in society... look at the Scandinavian king St Olaf, he made his subjects choose between baptism and death...

Jul 23, 2008 - You might be offended too if she called you and everyone of your faith horrible things. It's hard to keep your cool when something as serious as your religion is casually disregarded, but even moreso when the "apology" is so fake. She obviously does not care that she insulted pagans, because it's only a set of beliefs she and the majority of white Christian America don't share. Pagans are "mean and nasty", after all.
ghosthuntergrrl Says:
Jul 24, 2008 - She'a not going to be there much longer. Karma, Karma, Karma!

Jul 25, 2008 - i watched what kathylee gifford called her apology and i am very offended that she woould think that laughing and not saying what she was apologizing about `WE ALL KNOW that was her way of not having to say that she was sorry about what she said. why would she think that it was ok to do things that way. religion and the belife of others has always been a bad subject to bring up and when you talk about one of the oldest religions that the world has known you would
zen252003 Says:
Jul 25, 2008 - be surprised to see that there are lawyers doctors business owners and many more people that have gotten offended by her words so if she is going to say that she is sorry the she needs to act like an adult and say it tell the people she offended not just say "you know who you are." this was sent to msnbc if you were offended you should send a letter as well
druidess01 Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - she must be apologizing for her mother and father that taught her how to be an ugly lying offensive racist superficial arrogant monster of a human that btw used to own sweatshops to make her clothing line.
Blazeoglory Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - That's not an apology, that's an embarrassing, scar on the honor of journalists and entertainers everywhere. How dare you try to blame this on us young people, or male people. I demand an apology, not a joke. How dare you, DARE you, Kathy-Lee Gifford, persecute MY religion when yours was persecuted 2000 years ago? I'm not going to put any bad mojo on you personally, but I warn you; keep your drinks cold and away from your electronics; you'll probably be having some bad luck soon...
DJEclipseNiagara Says:
Jul 26, 2008 - I'm not a Pagan nor a Christian, and even I felt insulted by that. How condescending.
auryngrigori Says:
Jul 27, 2008 - Wait a go, Kathy Lee Gifford. You have managed to make the apology more offensive the actual comment itself.
alicevicious Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - wow that was more of an insult to injury than anything. way to salt the wound, you ignorant Television scum.
XxcorkeyxX Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - Good goddess was that an apology? I think not.Karma is a wonderful thing you always get back what you put out Kathy Lee remember that.

Jul 28, 2008 - *barfs*
Quendala Says:
Aug 4, 2008 - That was the most disgusting excuse for an apology I've ever seen. She didn't even specify who she was apologizing to, she laughed it off like she thought pagans didn't deserve an apology. The apology was worse than the offense. (I think when she said it she was thinking about ancient pagans, not neopagans, not that it makes it any less horrible.) She is an ignorant woman, obviously, and I feel sorry for her. Pagans as a community need to stand up and DEMAND that she acknowledge what she did.
kuroiblack Says:
Aug 12, 2008 - bottom of your heart!!!????????????? THE F*** WAS THAT! HOLY F****. (srry) People should demand a proper apology!! addressing the "you kno who you are" ppl properly...gaw blech wat an icky woman...
0lonnie0 Says:
Aug 14, 2008 - i'm glad she thought it was funny... and either way, apologies don't fix broken windows.
upindust Says:
Aug 17, 2008 - that was the most worthless cold apology that I've ever heard.. what she needed to say: To all the pagans in the U.S./World I am sorry for my comment I made against you.
Hawkeal Says:
Aug 20, 2008 - That woman is such a stupid bitch gahhh!!!
SteveCarras Says:
Aug 21, 2008 - I miss her, she was real cute.
johnnymargaret Says:
Aug 22, 2008 - We're not going to get a proper apology from her I don't think. This was it. But she did offer us a way to identify eachother in public now. T-shirts that say 'Mean and Nasty'. If you see someone wearing one it is probably a pagan with a sense of humor...lol thinking about having one made up myself...
syreni Says:
Sep 3, 2008 - hmmm, wonderful apology. I might find me one of those Mean and Nasty shirts, I need to try and uncover my local Pagan community... I dislike KLG she is so... just grrr
leapetra Says:
Sep 7, 2008 - ummm what? Sheesh any more sincere and I would have had to break out my hankie. I hope Cody becomes and becomes a pagan. Could happen...
neolotismaster Says:
Sep 10, 2008 - I doubt that even if we'd demanded, she wouldn't budge. I mean, judging from her current attitude regarding her actions, she obviously has no respect for Pagans. The sarcastic remarks that she doesn't feel obliged to apologise just compounds it.
UzumakiYume Says:
Sep 20, 2008 - This is a pathetic excuse for an apology. To be quite honest though, this is what I expected. A half-assed apology with no real feeling or sincerity. But, that's Kathy Lee Gifford for you. She's as fake as the "apology" she just gave.
PurpleIvy11 Says:
Oct 11, 2008 - Consider the source.
Stoirmeacha Says:
Jul 22, 2008 - Figures.... Whatever. Not worth our time. It isn't like she bothered to take the time to learn anything about us before she made that statement...just shows her ignorance.
