PLEASE READ THE DESCRIPTION FOR INFO Just my visual arts year 12 major project for school (Crestwood High School in Australia). Btw if you are wondering, HSC stands for High School Certificate. This project was due on the 1st of September 2008. When watching, keep the title of the video in mind and I encourage all viewers to perhaps interpret this artwork in their own way or views Thanks everyone for the positive feedback ^^ and it's kind of funny how the longer my video stays up, the more I get attacked by cyber ninjas and nubs ----------------------------------- I'm only allowing other HSC art projects to be put as video responses and also English Extension 2 videos. Without them, my artwork would've failed. Artist: God is an Astronaut Songs: -Darkfall -Lateral Noise Artist: This Will Destroy You Song: A Three-legged Workhorse Editing Program/s: -Sony Vegas 7.0 -Photoshop CS2 v9.0 Recording equipment: - Sony DSC-S600 digital camera - LG KU990 Viewty mobile phone ----------------------------------- How I edited this: It seems lots of people wanted to know so here it goes. I was originally going to draw each frame by hand but it took WAY too long so instead I used photoshop which still took really long but made things much easier. First I'd record myself, put it in sony vegas, capture it frame by frame, put it in photoshop, then outline lol. A total 2484 frames was edited and possibly another 500 from unused scenes and bits cut off ----------------------------------- All camera work was done by me so some of the angles, like the overhead one, was done by literally sticking my camera to the ceiling with tape =_=. I had no tripod (I didn't want to spend any money) or a cameraman so a lot of the setting up was done using books, shelves or whatever I could use really xD. ----------------------------------- With the lack of time because of the amount of work required for the project, I had to cut down and remove some scenes and ideas that I had which really sucked but I guess it still came out ok and from the comments I got I guess I'm quite satisfied now lol. ----------------------------------- Concept/Idea: It's about the imagination, dream, mind etc. The rest is up to you to decide. ----------------------------------- I spent a total of $0 on this artwork (excluding preexisting items etc) ----------------------------------- Also the student id thing, I was meant to put my name for the youtube upload but oh well, enough blabbering, hope you enjoy my artwork =) -----------------------------------
