Sep 26, 2008 - what antenna are you using with this receiver?
NG9D Says:
Sep 27, 2008 - The antenna is 7 half-wave dipoles, fed in parallel with common coax. The dipoles are made with insulated wire and bundled into a single multielment cable. The center feed point is at ground level. Half the antenna is hung from a tree, the other half (connected to the coax shield) is on the ground underneath the tree. The 7 individual dipoles are cut for ham bands 80/40/30/20/17/12/10m. The antenna resonates on all ham bands on fequencies above 3.5 MHz and works OK on the other frequencies.

Oct 17, 2008 - Very nice indeed. I have LONG wondered just how good a regen set sounded because I've read numerous positive comments; this radio really does sound good! Maybe I'll build one myself... 73 de N7LTH
