The Childlike-Youthful Orchestra Salserín, was founded without greater pretensions in Venezuela by its director Manuel Guerra in 1993, with the idea to form a childlike group of salsa. In an immediate way they were signed by Sony Music, and they recorded their first CD "The Childlike Orchestra of the World". They recorded it with a solid sound the theme "The Salsa Baby" composed by Manuel Guerra and "Beautiful Thief", composed by Servando Primera, both recordings caused them to conquer the Venezuelan market and surpass the borders captivating central american countries as well as Europe, becoming thus the "The newcomer band". Nevertheless in 1996 when they recorded their second CD "With a lot of Swing" of which the hits single "De Sol a Sol" (from dawn to dusk) also a composition of Manuel Guerra, where its fame in all of Venezuela and in twenty more countries flourished. Their first soap opera "from dawn to dusk" managed to create an audience of youths ranging from 2 to 20 years of age. The soap opera was seen only in Venezuela and Peru. It brought a lot of attention to the phenomenon that occurred in the eighties and start of the nineties with "Menudo" and "New Kids on the Block". They manage to sell approximately 320,000 copies in their country. This called the attention of their record label announcing thus their international fame that caused the same furor in Peru, Equator, Colombia, Mongolia, Italy, Indonesian among others countries. They managed to attract over 100,000 people to their concerts. The song "from dawn to dusk" was one of the most played tunes at the time on the radio. Given their success they recorded their first movie next to noticeable Venezuelan stars called, "The First Time" being converted immediately into the most viewed film project in Guatemala and Peru. In 1997 the two brothers of the group Servando and Florentine Primera launched their solo careers. By means of casting they entered that year with René Velasco and Renny Witty remaining in the group to the middle of 1998. That year of 1997, they sign with Venevisión and they recorded the second soap opera "between you and me" and at the same time published its third CD with the same name, composed by Vladimir Pérez. The series was transmitted in 45 countries including in Japan and Korea due to its great success, reception and number of concerts. They were chosen by the city of Orlando to participate in the celebrations of Walt Disney 50 Year Anniversary, carrying out double concerts and attracting over 60,000 people in a same concert in diverse countries of America and Europe. The CD "Between You and I", achieved the exorbitant sum of 900,000 copies on a worldwide basis, a feat that no other artist of that time could accumulate. In 1998, continuing the steps of the Primera Brothers René and Renny left to form a duet as soloists. A new casting causes the arrival of two new members: Willy Sáez and Álex Castile remaining in the group until the end of the 2001. In 1999 they launched a new CD "Con Nuevo Swing" (With New Swing) and they premiered their 3rd soap production called, "¿Dónde está el Amor?" (Where is the Love), the same one that was sold to 35 countries reaching the same success of its previous series. In the 2001 they carry out their fifth and last production of that generation "Impregnato de Tí" achieving the same levels of success and entering the Portuguese market, obtaining resounding success. Sadly the majority of the members by their almost teenage years obliged to dissolve the group and each member and singer continued separately with their diverse activities. In the 2005, Manuel Guerra transferred the rights of the group to the Renna Brothers who were their prior manager of the group and decided at the end of that year to record a sixth CD and the first pertaining to the new members entitled "Dum-Dum". It was launched and stayed twenty weeks in the Venezuelan billboards. They also recorded their first radio soap opera which became and instant success in their country in 2006 and was also heard in Honduras, Bolivia, Colombia, Equator, and other Latin-American countries. Salserín in their thirteen years of life sold more than 5.000.000 copies of its CD's everywhere as well as 6 tv and movie productions, 2 specials along with of course gold and platinum awards.
