A duet of "Turkey In The Straw" in the West Virginia mountains on mountain dulcimer with Hunter Walker; a jam of "Soldier's Joy" and the road to Coshocton, Ohio for Roscoe Village Dulcimer Days with Brett Ridgeway on hammered dulcimer, his wife Serenity on fiddle, Dave Gilchrist on acoustic guitar and Sue Gilchrist on the marimbula. It's a jam-packed (pun-intended) episode! I was going to wait until the 100th episode, but just can't do it. So, starting with this episode, all future installments of Dulcimerica will be offered with the "high quality" viewing option that can be toggled at the bottom right-hand corner of the screen. Nift!

Sep 10, 2008 - Hunter Walker is an amazing young man, I've watched him pick up an instrument & just start playing it, he is very gifted. It also spills out in his social skills, he talked me into joining group again, today for the first time in many months I started playing the dulcimer again, he also gave me a nice concert of Turkey In The Straw, just amazing, & then at the same time landed himself a gig for pre show & intermission, I think we'll hear a lot from Hunter over the years.
