Geschmolzen Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - How can the media outlet tools actually think Libertarian voters would even consider voting for McCain?

CrackrocKid Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Considering that Bob Barr voted against Medical Marijauna, FOR the Patriot Act and contrary to almost every current Libertarian issue (aside from taxes); I could see Libertarians backing McCain for being more of a Maverick than Bob "COMPANY MAN" Barr, CRK

razorsharpwit Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - Bob Barr is a sheep in wolves clothing. he's a liar and a bandwagon jumper, I would probably sleep better at night if he and people like him were no longer alive.

shanklinmike Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - I never said anything about no government, I want constitutionally minimal government. Excessive government is NOT liberty as much as an anarchist state! Don't be fooled into these two parties! Both parties are picking away at our civil liberties everyday and with it our prosperity! Only a libertarian state can offer prosperity through forcing the rich to fight for our money in a peaceful market as well protect our civil liberties! The demoblicans got it all wrong! The are very similar!

marinealltheway2 Says:

Jul 8, 2008 - ohh yeah, thats a real "razor sharp wit" you got there.

mczerone Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - The Flaw in your logic is that the "bandwagon" he's jumping onto is a Loser, and he knows it. He's not doing this for any ulterior motive, it just doesn't make any sense.

ioappoggioronpaul Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - libertarian...the people died...and you speak speak speak...libertarian dream is a dream,is failed with ron paul, w republican! w freedom,w the new era

cheddar21 Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - its not surprising how many people in congress voted FOR the patriot act. It was brought up in the middle of the night and had to be read before morning! Has anyone seen how huge it is!!!! If they would have had time to read and discuss it, theres no way anyone would have voted for it.........except maybe mcain.

LibPoliticalForum Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - Bob Barr's TV appearance as a Libertarian Presidential Candidate promoting the Libertarian Party in a positive light to US voters is actually...pretty excellent and polished. If the Party's goal is to get more and better press coverage...they are succeeding. The Libertarian Party is now being taken seriously by major media. If Barr can get mainstream American to vote Libertarian then maybe he's not such a bad choice after all and may move the Party forward.

sddallas Says:

Jul 9, 2008 - I'm voting for him

matchbox555 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - no, governments must also provide certain things which EMPOWER people, like infrastructure, education, healthcare, unemployment insurance, retirement insurance etc.

benton151 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Come on, if you don't want to vote for Bob Barr that's fine. But don't tell me Ron Paul has even a remote chance of getting as many votes as him. And, Bob Barr has worked for 5 years against the Patriot Act. How long does he need to oppose it to please some of you people? Or is he forever damned?

utubesucks2003 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Forget Patriot Act, he supported a HUGE bureacracy like Homeland Security without reading the bill and AFTER the initial pledges for this institution were proven to be lies.

utubesucks2003 Says:

Jul 10, 2008 - Hell Yes Ron Paul would get more votes than Barr if he ran independent and there were no ballot restrictions. Let's see if Barr even gets over 1 mill as it stands.

Minyme1969 Says:

Jul 12, 2008 - what are you people flapping your lips about, anybody has to be better than the two idiots we have to vote for now..Goverment Greed...We're losing our homes, driving ability, flying, public schools, our freedom.DAH

Selina231 Says:

Jul 12, 2008 - Chuck Baldwin for President. He's on the Constitution Party nominee.

caseymarquis Says:

Jul 12, 2008 - ... But hasn't the federal government totally failed to do that? Instead haven't we just been put trillions in debt? I fail to see why I would want to entrust "infrastructure, education, healthcare, unemployment insurance, retirement insurance etc." to an organization with a track record like the US government. If a business repeatedly failed you wouldn't just keep giving them more money. Why does the government continue to receive all this excess money for failed unconstitutional programs?

shiftstart Says:

Jul 20, 2008 - I'm voting for him.

pranavb99 Says:

Jul 27, 2008 - Does it really make sense to entrust a small, corruptible group of people, which is all government is, the power to pass laws that affect millions? Why centralize authority over such important things to a few who have the power of guns, instead of letting private companies compete to provide those services? If you must, gov't can provide a safety net through minimal direct assistance to people below a threshold. But to give gov. power to manipulate entire industries is dangerous and foolish.

1Susanne Says:

Aug 5, 2008 - Say No to the Status Quo! Don't stay home on election day because you've given up on our government, get out and vote libertarian. Not just for president, but straight across the board. Let's break up this two party scam.

prayfortruejustice Says:

Aug 9, 2008 - Write-in RON PAUL You can tell when Bob Barr is lying .... his lips are moving. turncoat, NWO patsy

goingwithzed Says:

Aug 16, 2008 - Let's elect a bunch of guys to cut things back down to 'necessary' levels of government then elect the idealists again to make 'more informed' choices that are absent the cold war, absent terrible unemployment rates (1980s had rates of 17%!!!!), etc. The way it works now is that programs are added and never removed.

melindahj Says:

Oct 16, 2008 - He looks black (ish)...possibly a black great-ancestor....I'm positive

je5752 Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - If Barr believes in individual freedom why does he want to take it away from gay people? Wake up and throw off the reigns of religion and its intolerant idiocracy of bigots if you want *true* freedom.

straightshoot Says:

Oct 31, 2008 - Barr, you make me sick! You called for Clinton's impeachment before you got busted by Larry Flynt for the same damn thing you accused Clinton! When is the Lib party going to stop housing rejects from the Democrat & Republican parties and find a real candidate that can win? Who's next to join, John Edwards?? Sen.Mike Gravel should have won the nomination. It is disgusting that Barr became the nominee and this is why no one takes the 3rd party seriously anymore!
