Jul 20, 2008 - We used to have a pond with an island in the middle and our old Dobie would swim around the island, swim alongside us when we took a canoe out, and she loved to chase the geese. She was a water dog. That's awesome that you're introducing your dog to the water; once he gets used to it, you probably won't be able to keep him out.
