Mar 12, 2008 - Wow Man from U.N.C.L.E. meets Spiderman 1966. Great fun indeed. Fun to hear this and to hear things from Film Score Monthly's "Girl from U.N.C.L.E." soundtrack CD. Played with such great fluidity which makes it seem deceivingly easy. Thanks for posting. Kind regards.

Apr 15, 2008 - Questa è la qualità cui dovremmo ispirarci SEMPRE nel fare musica.

eltisso Says:

Apr 21, 2008 - this is a one take band... this being the first take. With this kind of musicianship; like Bill Evans, Dave Grusin, Arturo Sandoval, and of course Michael Brecker... this is a sick band

chettle265 Says:

Apr 25, 2008 - Amen to that. It makes me want to throw my piano in the pond. So ridiculously tight, so on top of their game. I hate them all.

timthesav Says:

May 15, 2008 - damn, Brecker sported the Member's Only jacket like it was his job

Aug 1, 2008 - Thanks for posting this. It is part of a rolling clip on a high definition TV station here in Tasmania, Australia and as soon as I heard it I knew it had to be Dave Grusin. I have heaps of his stuff mainly because he uses the best session musos around, so can anyone please tell me the title of the CD or DVD so I can purchase it. As a drummer I'd love to know whether it's Dave Weckle behind the kit.

jivepatrolmusic Says:

Aug 1, 2008 - This is called "Dave Grusin's West Side Story". Yes, that is Weckl on drums although he isn't shown. You can buy the CD and DVD on Amazon.

jivepatrolmusic Says:

Oct 29, 2008 - Yes, IT IS! You can even check the CD liner and DVD liner notes. Next time, do your homework before posting here. Besides that, Stevie Wonder can see that it's Tony and Glenn.

Nov 12, 2008 - I thought to myself that it was kind of strange to see them running a DASH machine this late in the game, but I looked it up on Amazon and it's from '97. Makes sense now. It's cool to see how many people appreciate this kind of thing.
