Mar 29, 2008 - the problem with suicide bomb-vests(which was wht she was wearing) is that its very delicate (apply pressure- boom)& only can be removed by a professional- her teammates had made her wear it, so there is no way they would remove it or if they went to bomb squad to remove, then she would go to jail for life for trying to murder the president On the DVD, during the end credits, it showed that the Indian CBI had stopped her other teammates from carrying out the mission- so, they all failed

Mar 29, 2008 - Ending just showed that Amar realised tht Meghna was too emotionally damaged to return to a normal life after what she went thru (even the slight nod to admit her affection for him-huge step for her) Amar indirectly was responsible for stopping the attack on the president- If Amar never met Meghna, then he would have fallen in love with her, wouldnt have gotten beaten by her "brothers", wouldnt have chased one of her brothers into the arms of the police(this was how the Indian CBI got involved)

Mar 31, 2008 - As for the ending, I think that SRK's character (Amar) did the most selfless, loving thing possible -- he sacrificed himself, his love and his future to save Meghna from dying alone and many innocent people from a premature death (for him, life without her has no meaning for him) His action, done with knowledge and compassion is one of the most stunning moments of cinema that I have ever witnessed
