That is not dirt or ash flying through the air. Those are birds. Lots and lots of birds. This is Kylertown, PA, and I think this must be where Hitchcock himself is buried, because we get thousands and thousands of birds flocking just like this on a daily basis. They come in in a steady stream. They do this from dawn to dusk daily. Amusing, perplexing, and a little bit freaky.
