Jul 9, 2008 - when this came out, many many bass players said,"ulp . . . i think i need to practice more"

Noah58 Says:

Jul 19, 2008 - This bass solo is so underrated! These guys should've been inducted into the Rock n' Roll Hall of Fame, I don't care what anybody says.

fishnsticks Says:

Aug 23, 2008 - you are right! even though i wasn't alive back then lol for us mere mortals we must practice

TheSpiralAim Says:

Sep 24, 2008 - Lol near the middle of the song it gets kind of haunting like King Crimson almost. But, anyways Chris Squire is an underated Bassist. People place him under flea when in all reality Chris Squire's stuff is a world more difficult to play.

amorin1 Says:

Sep 30, 2008 - Totally agree with you... hell, they even let Madonna in! Bxllshyt

fishnsticks Says:

Oct 3, 2008 - Well with all due respect Yes are much much more than just a Rock n' Roll band. But I understand what your trying to say.

fishnsticks Says:

Oct 3, 2008 - Hmmmm...Well if your a bass player then Chris Squire is not underrated not at all...You know I really like both bass players...and I mean I like them ALOT They influence me so much, but the thing is that Red Hot Chili Peppers songs and basslines are more catchy to the public eye (or ear for that matter) and lets face it many people think Progressive rock is silly =( That's just my opinion on why Flea is considered the better bassists and stuff thats more difficult doesn't mean that its better

Oct 8, 2008 - I used to be in awe of Squire, but dince I started listening to jazz -- Jaco Pastorius etc -- I find his soloing dull and his technique heavy-handed. The studio version of the Fish still stands up, I think, as an impressionistic soundscape.
