** THIS REVIEW WILL CONTAIN SPOILERS! ** Gabriela7129 back for another "Broadway Blog." This time I'm reviewing the new Tony Award Winning Musical, "In the Heights" now playing at the Richard Rogers Theatre in New York City. This musical review is all my opinion and you may agree — you may disagree but just think of this little reviews as fun, okay? In short: "In the Heights" was a great musical and I had nothing bad to say about it really. I just can't see what ALL the hype was about. It's a great new musical but it's probably just receiving more hype because it relates to a younger audience. Aug 6, 2008 - i loved this musical soo much..i never really was interested in Broadway at all but when I saw this musical with my spanish club from school, i was amazed and astonished. I loved how I related to this musical on so many levels. My parents are immigrants and came here for a better life.The city in live is kind a like Washington heights and im a dedicated student like Nina's character. It was wonderful experiance and this musical made me more proud of my heritage. I highly recommend it.
