They are building up their different types of big government. But what we've seen now is that an increase in a rich person's pockets does not translate into an increase in consumer demand, and therefore your multiplier effect. Bush increased spending into FEDERAL programs such as No Child Left Behind, Faith Based Initiative, he oligopolized insurance companies pushing competitive pressures out, he voted for more spending on defense and military, he voted for agricultural subsidies! Jul 22, 2008 - Barr would greatly decrease spending in military bases overseas and would cut spending to DHS, NCLB, cuts to the federal war on marijuana(10th amendment), would try to make earmarks presentable before voting and with accountability, cut federal welfare(leave it to the more efficient smaller states), would try to balance the out of control budget within 8 years.... He is very pro-peaceful markets and against coercive force. He believes our government has become too bloated and is unsustainable!
