Obama on O'Reilly, answering on foreign affairs. Says surge vote was correct given the info at the time, as we'd tried surge several times before. Same reason those who voted for Iraq war based on WMD's don't admit they were wrong.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Barak appears to be scared to death of Bill O'Reilly and that is very encouraging to me. Bye Bye Obama. Hello real government. Vote McCain!

cheeted Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - I'm a McCain supporter but Barack did very well considering how combative O'Reilly was in that segment; he barely let him get a word in edgewise. I gotta be honest, those words he did get in surprised me with his understanding of foreign policy

darwinx0101 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - you're an australian mccain supporter?

darwinx0101 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - what video are you watching? obama was cool and collected... not to mention very knowledgeable. nice try.

jackj59 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - I agree, cheeted. I think he did very well, but that didn't surprise me. He's a smart, very well-informed guy. And I thought he came across just fine; don't know what CrescentBay saw in it.

priorzola Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - SO let's get this straight Bill-O, we CANNOT send ground troops into Pakistan because they ALREADY HAVE nuclear capabilities. BUT WE MUST send ground troops into IRAN because they only NEARLY HAVE NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES. Isn't this one of those DOUBLE STANDARDS that the neo-cons are known for. Don't you think IRAN (and all countries that we may wantonly seek to attack) knows about this double standard and THUS see NUCLEAR CAPABILITIES as the only defense against AMERICA'S IMPERIALIST WHIMS?

priorzola Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - BILL-O tries to box people into answering questions in a certain way and when they don't he just drops the subject or, most often, turns off the other person's mike. The problem with BILL-O's lack of any ability to follow up is that he has a very short-sighted and misguided view of how the MiddlEast actually operates (as does McCain). Bill tries to make the leap in logic that Iran & "the war against al-Qaeda" are one and the same. Obama schools him as to the REAL FACTS & leaves him dumb-founded.

thorphin114 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - yea dude, I've known this about Barack since the primary debates... this guy DOES have an extensive knowledge on foreign policy... but if you just listen to Republican propaganda you would think he doesn't know his ass from his head. His foreign policy outlook is what hooked me on him in the first place and what I consider one of his strong points.

gold95 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - WHAT? im not voting for either of those fools. More military force, more war, more irresponsible monetary policies, more preemptive wars, more government spending, more welfare state, more government intrusion. and the list goes on.. if you want that, vote for either Obama or McCain, it makes no difference.

helloworldhereiam Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - This sucks. I want the other parts NOW. O'Reilly is an asshole for this one! BTW OBAMA ROCKED!

thx291 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Somewhere between Keith Olbermann's softball questions and O'Reilly's badgering is where a good interview is. Nevertheless, Obama did very well in this segment.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Well obviously you are someone who wants others to speak for you, so why are you even bothering to have an opinion? Vote, you idiot.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - I saw a nervous person trying very hard not to say "um....uhhhhh....um"

gold95 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - You dont make any sense... English please.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Bye Bye, Obama.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - Any idiot who doesn't exercise their right to vote is being controlled by those who do. Vote, you idiot.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - His body language revealed a very nervous person. It's clear O'Reilly intimidates him.

darwinx0101 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - only thing o'reily does is annoy, not intimidate. and if anyone was intimidated, it was o'reily. he wouldn't even let obama give his full answer in some cases because obama was making mccain look bad.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - They have limited time and he had a list of questions he wanted answered. What, were you born yesterday?

darwinx0101 Says:

Sep 5, 2008 - what are you an idiot? obama is 1 of only 2 people that are being considered for the presidency of the united states. only an ass of a "journalist" would disrespect either candidate during an interview.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 6, 2008 - Thanks for not voting, by the way. That makes my vote for McCain count as 2.

gold95 Says:

Sep 6, 2008 - What makes you think I'm not voting? You think only two people are running? Wake up spider, you've had a nightmare of being brainwashed...

kycg32 Says:

Sep 6, 2008 - I was impressed with Obama-how poised, cool, calm, and collected he was. He did not stoop to O'Reilly's level and make a fool of himself. To me, it seemed like O'Reilly was trying his best to make Obama look bad but really it was quite the opposite. Obama definitely has my vote.

CrescentBay Says:

Sep 7, 2008 - Why bother? If you don't vote for Obama or McCain, your vote is wasted. Do the simple math. But thanks! At least you aren't a vote for Obama.
