[Sorry this is SOOO long.....plz watch my video with the "annotations" option turned ON because, well, i added those little bubbles for a reason! lol.] One year ago we all sat down and for hours there was silence in the HP community. No one was talking, there were maybe some IMs or Texts being slung back and forth, but as a whole, for at least 24 hours, the HP world stood still as we witnessed the end of our lives as we knew them. One year later, here we are, looking back at all that was, thinking of all that could be, nesting in the nostalgia of it all and longing for those nights again. I want to know what you, as a member of the Hp fandom, are doing, what are you reading, what are you eating and sleeping for. We will always love HP, it will be a part of us forever, but how strong will the fandom remain with no new books and the movie releases quickly coming to an end? I look forward to blogging. TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 23, 2008 - Could you link me to your source about the HP animation? Everything I understand of that business was meant to be an april fools prank/hoax. and yes, the theampark should keep HP alive for a LONG time to come. Silly of me to not mention it, but this vlog was long enough already X(
p3nnam3 Says:
Jul 24, 2008 - oh man i read about it a long time ago on like perez hilton hahahaha and then it linked to some newssite :( so maybe my sources aren't all that reliable

Jul 28, 2008 - How could you not like Harry? Anyway the 7th book was totally predictable, it was like I knew what was going to happen and that just made the book suck for me. I still liked it, just finished reading it for the third or fouth time and it is still not that great. I keep spending all my hard earned money buying HP stuff on ebay when I should be saving to pay my tuition, so for dorks like me HP will be around for a while. I can't wait to see what you have to say about the book, it should be fun.
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - He is a self-righteous twat who treats his friends like shit while angsting over not being like everyone else as he simultaneously demands special treatment and to be included in everything because he is, like, freaking harry potter man! He is annoying. I know how it is to spend money I don't have, on thing I don't need, bc of ebay. HP is one of my big money sucks.

Jul 28, 2008 - do"read" and "read" bother me? Hell yeah
mejia85 Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - Wow I guess we must agree to disagree. He is always trying to isolate himself in order to protect his freinds, he loves them and thinks of them as his family. He didn't ask for his destiny, it was thrust upon him and he never backed down, that takes balls. He may get Angry at times and act like a brat, but wouldn't you if all the people closest to you all died? Oh yeah talk about treating his friend like shit, look at Malfoy.
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - Disagree we shall bc no part of Potter's"fate"or"destiny"--that he had"no part in choosing"-dictated that he should gallivant about the school like he owned the place while acting like its personal savior and crime solver, appointed by his own selfish narcissism. His utter disregard for rules aside, his sense of self-righteousness leads him to treating his friends like inferiors(Case in point:Ron making Prefect)
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 28, 2008 - ...Speak of Draco? How? The books are told near exclusively from Potter's perspective and it is HIS opinion that Draco is a bad friend. Potter did not choose his fate --as you said- so how DARE you commend him for it? The DL wouldn't have stopped tracking him. It was not "bravery" that forced Potter's hand; it was lack of a better option. That is MY opinion. Thank you.
mejia85 Says:
Jul 29, 2008 - Okay the Ron making Prefect thing was not treating him like he is inferior, Harry was simply disapointed that it was not him. Haven't you ever been in that situation before? I have that does not mean I think people are inferior. And although you love Draco how can you possible think that he isn't a bad friend. He just uses his friends and bosses them around all the time. Not to mention he is a spoiled rich kid with daddy issues. The only brave thing he did was not kill Dumbledore.
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 29, 2008 - again, everything you said about Draco is bc you read a book stricktly from Potter's perspective, and Potter hates and pities Draco. there is little evidence Draco "bosses" his friends asmuch as leads them into soing bad things. I think you are taking too syrongly into account movie diolog and not book content. and Potter was pissed off, not disapointed, that Ron made Prefect and not him. it even made Potter himself pause because he was thinking Ron wasn't as smart or good as him.
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 29, 2008 - the only brave -selfless- thing Potter ever did was almost die. he should have tried a little harder.
mejia85 Says:
Jul 29, 2008 - Harry risked his life to protect his freinds on numerous occasions. And yes the books are in Potters perspective, but if Draco was not being represented accurately why would the other characters, aside from the Slytherins, dislike him as well? He is a self centered jerk who never did an unselfish thing until the last couple of books.
Richalvarez Says:
Jul 30, 2008 - I have to agree with TheRaineDrop, i think potter is self righteous, and a little hot headed at times.
TheRaineDrop Says:
Jul 30, 2008 - thank you. <3

Aug 29, 2008 - yeh , i realy wanted the book to come out , it was good, not brilliant , i realy hated the ending , and also what the hell happend ? harry just dropped out of school so he cudnt become an aurora ? he didnt get a job , ok he married ginny and had a load of badly unimaginitvly named children . she screwed up on the fred and george thing. yes a lot more time was needed, it would of been worth the wait
Oriana666 Says:
