Is there any chance of John Paul returning in the future? "Never say never"... "...I've always been quite ambitious and there is so much more that I want to do. I want to do theatre and drama and film and I just want to spread my wings a little bit... I'm going to stay up here. I've bought a flat and I've signed up with a modelling agency...". [CHANNEL 4 /Ask the Cast] Why have you decided to leave HOLLYOAKS ? I've always been quite ambitious and there is so much more that I want to do. I want to do theatre and drama and film and I just want to spread my wings a little bit. So what can we expect from your leaving storyline? Lots of thrills and spills really! It's very exciting, I've only just read the scripts and it's great. They've put a lot of time and effort into it and because they have brought Guy (Craig) back and stuff it's all going to tie together really well. And of course the Father Kieron element as well! The fans are really excited about Guy's return and they have been talking about it a lot on the forums. Were you pleased to hear that Guy was coming back? Yeah, yeah definitely. Me and Guy get on great and we had a blast the first time round. I always kind of hoped that he would come back for my ending. You know, we have done some stuff together that we are both really proud of so I hope that we can pull it off again! Have you had any input into John Paul's exit storyline? Not really. I think Bryan (Kirkwood, HOLLYOAKS Producer) has had a pretty clear idea for a long time of where he wanted to take that storyline so I kind of knew where it was going. But as far as input goes I just do as I'm told. Would you rather see John Paul end up with Kieron or Craig? I couldn't say really! I know Guy (Craig) and Jake (Kieron) have both got their own fans now so I wouldn't want to offend either band of people! But they are both great. What have you enjoyed most about your role as John Paul? I feel like I have learned a lot. I love acting anyway but I have learned so much acting everyday...it's like any job really. I feel really good now, a lot more confident and that's something that I'll take away with me. Is there any chance of John Paul returning in the future? Never say never... What are your plans for the future ? My plans for the future...hmm I want to play some different characters now. I just want to see what else I can do really. Are you moving down to London? No, I'm going to stay up here[Liverpool]. I've bought a flat and I've signed up with a modelling agency. Most of my friends are here anyway so I'll be sticking around for a bit.
