It can actually hold units in a "storage", and they can be taken out at ANY other webway, where nydus canals are only linked to one other canal. 2. It can be upgraded to give nearby buildings stealth. 3. It can be upgraded to give nearby units increased healing capability. 4. It increases population cap. Very useful buildings.
