Jun 23, 2008 - This reminds me of "the Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy" where the answer of the great question of Life the Universe and Everything was 42, but no one knew what the question was.

Jul 1, 2008 - The Meaning of Life if you are living then you know.

Jul 29, 2008 - The question "what is perfection" for me does not automatically assume that it exists, as you are asking a person what it is, they could simply say that perfection is non-existant. However as it is a concept it does therefore exist as a non-existant to some people. Rather like a negative number, You can not see it but it still exists as a concept.

Aug 12, 2008 - Thanks for sharing this video! I am curious to know why you put the two ideas together in a video, the purpose/meaning of life and perfection. Perfection is ambigous and subjective. Note on something you said: asking if there is a meaning to life does not imply that you already think there is. When you ask if God existes, you aren't saying by asking the question that God exists. You are simply questioning. Good answer, and you reached to some ideas that I needed. Thanks ;)

Aug 12, 2008 - ;) You're welcome. I suppose the concepts go together somewhat for me because I consider them both "ambiguous and subjective" as you put it. I agree that asking IF there is a meaning to life does not assume that it exists. However, when you begin by asking for the meaning or purpose to be defined, it's like starting out with the question, "What is the nature of God?" This assumes that God exists, a priori.

Aug 17, 2008 - [Perfection is the relatively high degree to which a quality manifests.] Life is a person affecting other things. The Purpose of a life is Why a person affects - for what does that person affect. The Meaning of a life is How a person affects - the means by which the person affects. This is the non-linear hyper-dimensional duality of existence. The Why and How of Being.
