Dana grabbed Nick's hand and squeezed it so hard. The two his behind a wall. Nick: Dana, who are you talking about? Dana: JOHNNY!!! He's right THERE. Look!! Nick: (looks around the wall) I don't see him. What are you talking about? Dana: (comes to look) He's not there. He's gone. Where did he go?! Nick: He was never there! Dana: (holds onto him tighter) Nick, you have to believe me. He was there. Please keep him away from me. Nick: Why do you care so much if he's here. Dana: He did some things. BAD things to me and I can't tell you.... Nick: Dana, you can tell me anything, because I--(snaps back into reality) because I, uh...umm... Dana: You what? Nick: You can trust me. Dana: Nick, not yet. I just don't want to talk about it, not now, please. Nick: (hugs her) Okay, okay. Are you ready to go back with everyone else? Dana: (exhales) Yeah... Nick holds her hand lightly and they walk into the "Pink Dolphin" for breakfast. Joe: (eating bacon) Where were you? You're missing the buffet! Nick: Dana thought she....saw someone. Maria: Who? Dana: No one. It doesn't matter, he's gone now. Sarah: Come sit, you look terrified, like you've seen a ghost. Dana: Who I saw should be a ghost, right now. Kevin: (whispers) Nick, is she okay? Nick: (whispers) I'm not sure, but she's really scared. Kevin: Help her to relax and stay calm. Nick: (nods) Dana, you want some coffee? Dana: Uh, no, I'm good. Thanks. (forces a smile) Nick: Uh, do you want to go back to your room? Dana: Um, yeah, I think that's be good. Nick: Do you want me to walk you? Dana: Would you? Nick: Sure. Joe: You're gonna miss the buffet. Nick: I really don't care anymore. I'm not very hungry. (stands up and takes Dana's hand) Dana: Thanks Nick. Nick: Oh, it's no problem. Nick looked at the floor. Anywhere but Dana's big, innocent, beautiful brown eyes. He felt this weird feeling inside when he looked into her eyes. It made him feel somewhat good and somewhat like he wanted to throw up. All he knew was that he didn't want to leave her side right now and he was determined to make it stay like this. Dana swiped her key card and went inside, Nick followed. Dana sat on her bed and Nick sat on Sarah's. Dana: Nick, you've been so amazingly sweet to me. I really like you, a lot. Nick: Me too. I mean, I like YOU a lot, of course. Nick looked at the floor. How could he make a such a stupid mistake? He sounded so stupid in front of Dana! Dana: Are you okay? Nick looked up, startled. She was sitting next to him now. She took his clammy, sweaty hand in hers. Nick: Uh, yeah. I'm fine. Dana: You don't look fine. Nick: (tries to change the subject) Your room is bigger than ours. It's so huge. Dana: Nick, are you okay? Nick, seriously, answer me! Nick: Are YOU okay? Dana: Nick, please answer me. Nick: Yes, yes, I am fine!! I told you that already. Dana: (taken aback by his remark) Well, sorry.... Nick: No, wait. I'M sorry. I was mean. You just wanted an answer and I was being stubborn. Dana: What's wrong with your hand? It feels weird, and it's all wet. Nick: (takes his hand away quickly and dries it on his pants) Sorry (sticks his hand out again) Dana: (takes it and smiles at him) Nick: So, um, do you really think Johnny is here? Dana: Well, yeah, I mean, I swear I saw him. Nick: I believe you, it's just that....it's kind of hard to believe you when I didn't see him myself. Dana: I understand. Nick: But I bet he is here. But, he could just be vacationing. Suddenly the door burst open and Maria and Sarah came running in, with terrified looks on their faces, like THEY'VE seen ghosts. --------------------------------------- I will post the next chapter tomorrow morning IF my friend Maleek (WaterLover47) Gets at lest 50 subscribers.
