Jun 4, 2008 - That SEEMS to be their usual tactic as if foul mouthing provides ANY type of rebuttal or counter response. I guess for many of them that is the only level they are capable of reaching. Some of them are very nice and appreciative though and I really want to thank them. As for the others, let them continue in mental and spiritual isolation in their life of ignorance. As Muslims and as human brethren we still hope Allah gives them light and opens their minds and hearts to peace.
McDonian Says:
Jun 5, 2008 - Can you please tell me how many Jews were left in Medina after Muhammed rose to power? Did the Jewish men not surrender during a siege only to be executed? Is this not in the quran? How many Christians live in Turkey today, what is their situation, by today I mean 2008, is it worse or better than muslim in italy, germany, spain or britain?
McDonian Says:
Jun 5, 2008 - The Christians inhabitants were legally considered second or third class citizens in the Ottoman hierarchy and administration, why then, would the insurgents in southern greece not throw out the muslim after independence. Did the algerians keep the french administrators and soldiers after their liberation??? I don't you think, think, in 2008 terms.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 6, 2008 - Who told you they were second and third class citizens? Where did you get this idea from? Let me guess, your 6th grade "Greek History" book? And first of all we are taking about Islam here. Show me in Islamic Sharia law where they are "second" and "third" class citizens (these distinctions do not even exist in sharia terminology).
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 6, 2008 - No it is not in the Quran. And you have the story backwards and wrong. It is in the Seerah and in the hadiths. These Jews who betrayed the Muslims after making a coaltion agreement with them, abandoned and sided with the enemy. They had secretly planned that. When they lost and were caught they pleaded the prophet to have one of their men who converted to Islam to decree their fate. He said to kill them. That was only one tribe though. The others lived.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 6, 2008 - Muhammad kept his word with them, after they didn't. This tribe thought that their kinsmen would decree to have their lives spared. How wrong they were. Many Muslims that day lost their lives, including old people women and children because of that tribes treachery. This is a lesson.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 6, 2008 - What is their situation? Geeeee, I don't know. They seem to have their patriarchate there, their bells ring freely, they are even opening up churches and conducting prayers in Izmir, Sumela, Cappadocia etc. Heck....they are even stepping up their voices calling for the opening of Halki and other religious seminaries. Of course Turkish secular government loves them more than Muslims. The govt. there fears Islam, not Orthodoxy:)
McDonian Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - "Demise of the Banu Qurayza" "head tax" for non-muslims during the ottoman regime, jannisaries, no ringing of bells, forced conversion of cathedrals into mosques (i.e. the Haghia Sofia, today a museum thanks to ataturk, the greatest of all turk secularists) Catholic priest stabbed in trabzon stoning of 'adulterers' by the taliban hanging teenage gays by the mullahs /you believe what you believe due to "faith", that is your perogative, not all people have or want your "faith". live well
alifbah0 Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - you are picking random events here and there. The Roman Catholic of Los Angeles paid $660 million to 500 victims of sexual abuse, it happened in July 15, 2007. Infact, it you do a google on the rapes/abuses caused by Priest, you will be amazed to see it almost a regular event. A Christian from Austria kept her daughter in basement, raped her, had babies with her (it has been made in the news). Does this people Christianity teaches you to rape young babies & girls?
alifbah0 Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - thats a Tax system, do you not have Taxes in your country. Or do you live free of Tax?. Study Islamic Law instead of randomly picking from it. Non-Muslims has to pay tax, and they are exempted from military services. Widows and young boys/girls (non-Muslim) are exempted from Tax. There are no taxes on Muslims, but Muslims have to pay Charity of every year, which non-Muslims dont have to pay.
alifbah0 Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - How many Mosques were converted to Church after the fall of Islamic Spain or Sicily? Each and every one. its important to note that the people in Islamic Spain were dominantly Spanish Muslim, not Arabs. Each and everyone were either forced converted in Inquisition or killed or expelled. On contrary, you will find Orthodox Church all over Mid-East. Ancient Greek Pagans still exists in Afghanistan and Northern Pakistan and is followed by the Kalash tribes.
McDonian Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - you believe what you believe due to "faith", that is your perogative, not all people have or want your "faith". live well & avoid wahhabism this is my last post, cheers everyone
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - Same old crap.....same old story. One-sided ridiculous and obnoxious "accusations" against Islam! You lodge these kind of accusations without realising that for every one you dish out I can dish out two. Do you seriously want to play this game?! Come on man be for real. That old orientalist crap has been refuted many years ago. Move on!
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 7, 2008 - You have really shown your true color of hate. Your imbecilic attitude is typical of your type I guess. It is scary knowing that the world has people like you in it. You have come to this clip and commented for what? For peace? Or for human prosperity? For educating yourself? Or have you come for tensions or a venue to express your anti-Muslim views?
McDonian Says:
Jun 8, 2008 - you believe what you believe due to "faith", that is your perogative, not all people have or want your "faith". live well & avoid wahhabism how do you infer this as "hate". You believe the all mighty, the supreme being conveyed his wishes for humanity and the earth through an uneducated trader in arabia in the 7th century. Fine, that's your faith, all power to ya.. the same charismatic figure then spread this religion. believe what you want, just don't expect others to believe the same
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 8, 2008 - I do not demand from people to want my faith. I frankly DO NOT CARE if they don't want it. I believe ALLAH leads the hearts of those he wants when they use their LITTLE bit of free will to desire HIM. You are the one who seems to want to FORCE your ideology on others (whatever that might be....but what we do know is that included in it is an anti-Islamic thread).
Apokorwnioths1984 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - Let me ask you something simple : Did the Ottoman Sharia allow Muslims to convert to Christianity if they wanted to?
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - You can believe what you want in Islam. You can can chose to disobey Allah if you want or to obey him. Islam forbids the OPEN renunciation of Allah and his deen If someone becomes another ideology, Allah knows his heart. But if he goes out in public, denounces Islam, talks bad about Islam, fights Islam (physically and argumentivly), trys to lead people astray from it etc. he is then called before the Sharia court to prove his case and points......
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - Islam is confident that a rebelious person, will fail so because no one has EVER proved anything about Islam wrong or against upright human fitrah it then asks the rebellious person to come back to the fold of Islam and recant any Treason against God. If the person refuses after being rebutted and proved wrong, the apostates sentence is either ostriizing, banishment from Dar-ul Islam or death.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - You see, anywhere you go in the World a person is not able to do whatever he WANTS without consequences. There are rules and regulations that govern all societies/cultures. If in most countries even today in the Western world you are tried for treason (especially at times of war) you are liable to receive death penalty. Well in Islam treason against Allah the Creator and Sustainer of the Universe is the worst sin and biggest treason.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - But really let me ask you something, what weight does your question carry when the Western Laws, Courts and Rules issue verdicts (fatwas) of Death on thousands and thousands of Muslims daily with the applause of the Western media and the blessing of he West's oligarchs and silence of it's masses?
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 9, 2008 - I really do not know what you are trying to prove here, but let me assure you, if you are trying to prove what I think you are, you are playing a game that you have already lost. You will be wasting your time and you will make a fool of yourself again as you have done in most of your previous posts where you came with an attacking and offensive attitude. I hope I am wrong.
Apokorwnioths1984 Says:
Jun 10, 2008 - I condemn of course the attacks and colonizations of the middle eastern countries from the west and the deaths of Muslim people, as most of my compatriots, but we would do the same if they weren't muslims. The religion isn't something that we should mind when it comes to human lives. I didn't come here to create an offensive debate and loose my time, thank you for your answer.
alipashaofjanina2 Says:
Jun 10, 2008 - Then we are on the same page. The Quran tells us that if we save A LIFE.....(notice that there is no discrimination here, it says ANY human life), it is as if we saved the whole creation and if we UNJUSTLY take a life, it is as we destroyed it all. At least we seem to be on a "similar" page now. And thanks for YOUR quite nice answer.
alifbah0 Says:
Jun 3, 2008 - And if you are from the Balkan also consider this point:- "Why is Paganism, once the dominant faith of Greece, Macedonia is virtually non-existent in Balkans today, but exists in GOOD Numbers in Pakistan and Afghanistan and followed by the Kalash tribes (descendants of Alexander the Great)".
