Feb 27, 2008 - As unfortunate as the circumstances are that put them in the rehabilitation center/prison i believe, judging from this report, that it's truly great to see them being taught trades and given an education, i believe this is one of the positive aspects of the Taliban being chased out as in my opinion i doubt that facilities would of existed under their reign.

Feb 27, 2008 - Yes, but if the US had cleaned up the mess they made instead of running off to invade Iraq these young men and women wouldn't be dreading the day they are released.

Feb 27, 2008 - It would appear that the kids are living better in prison than they are outside. One would hope it doesn't encourage kids to get arrested. But the flip side is they are recieving an education they would otherwise not have. I believe it would be a mistake to send the kids to the big house when they hit 19. they should be sent to an intermediate prision/school where they can be evaluated and continue learning. transfering them to adult prison would corrupt and ruin everything they gained.

Feb 28, 2008 - What mess? Wasn't it the Russians followed by the Taleban the ruined the infrastructure? Not like US hit powerlines and water pipes when it invaded. but i agree, iraq was the war of Bush's choice, not necessity.
