The due date for this isn't until August 7th, but due to a multitude of reasons--the main one of these being that I start school back that day--I got to work on it immediately out of nothing but fear that I wouldn't finish in time. This is what came of it. The specifications were that it had to be at least one minute to the song Already Over, by Red, and pertain to Kingdom Hearts. We're not supposed to use any effects other than masking, transitions, and media generator. Which is what I did, but if there are any issues, at least I have time to revise before the official due date. xD .__. Yes, I know this is a completely different style from what I usually do. I'm actually quite proud though...feedback would be appreciated on this little experiment. This pairing...well, I can't say I'm a huge supporter, but I do like both characters individually and I've always sort of wanted to try new things. I didn't really have any plot idea in mind when I made this, and I think you can use your imaginations simply from watching and listening to the lyrics. ...I'm perfectly content to pretend it's going in accordance with mah twinny's Sweeney Todd trailer. ;O But if you must have one, here's an optional one made up on the spot: Riku follows the winding halls of Castle Oblivion, fighting the onslaught of confusing memories, and meets one little girl: Naminé. He's never been one for trusting people right off the bat, but there's something about her...remembering the friends he's left behind already, and the shame he feels for past actions, he decides to stay near her, and protect her. The two grow closer. Naminé's never truly been alone, though. Not completely. Ansem has strong ties to both Organization XIII and Riku, and finds this as a perfect opportunity to eradicate the one little girl and her guardian. He decides to save the challenge for later, and draws out Riku by going for Naminé, and Larxene of the Organization is all too happy to help in gravely wounding her. But the amount of infuriation this caused for Riku he highly underestimated--the boy only fights harder than he would have otherwise, while Naminé struggles simply to get back to her feet. He knows now that they can never be together without putting the other in danger; he also knows, as he seems to win over his long-time enemy, that it's only temporary. So, using the darkness, he crosses to the other side of the door, too late for even a good-bye. Naminé is crushed. She's a Nobody; she shouldn't be able to feel anything at all. This was exactly the kind of situation that could have been avoided from the beginning. Furious, miserable, she thinks about the platinum-haired boy in silence, and comes to the conclusion that he wasn't supposed to exist any more than she. --- DISCLAIMER: ALL PROPERTY BELONGS TO SQUEENIX.
