Jonoichi Says:

Aug 3, 2008 - The sword you are using, is it display/demonstration sword, or is it a practical and meant for combat?

ShinobiMystic Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - This is the way I use the sword, I think the blocks and the strikes are good. I need to work on my fighting technique. I cannot say for certain that these are combat worthy. I am still refining my techniques. You can be the judge. Look at some more video's on you tube and let me know what you think.

Jonoichi Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - I think the form the way it looks is impressive. I think your movements are a bit slow if you were in an actual fight. But I can't be a truly fair judge, I only had a few months training with the Katana sword. And that was several years ago.

Jonoichi Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - Your form is far superior too mine. But I work better with two shorter swords as opposed to one longer one.

ShinobiKisune Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - cool vid 5 ninja stars

ShinobiMystic Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - Thanks for watching.

ShinobiMystic Says:

Aug 4, 2008 - Thats great to hear, I wish you the best with your training friend.

ZaneAvery Says:

Aug 25, 2008 - You are very skilled with a katana, I have to say.

ShinobiMystic Says:

Aug 26, 2008 - Thank you, I have been training for years.

SherubiGashes Says:

Aug 26, 2008 - You have good flow, you should do more sword lessons. I think I could use some help. =\ 5stars

ShinobiMystic Says:

Aug 27, 2008 - Thanks, I should practice with my blade more. I have been working more with other weapons and my unarmed combat skills.

joegt123 Says:

Sep 3, 2008 - To be honest it wasn't altogether impressive. Albeit it was fairly smooth movement and you obviously know what you're doing, nothing was too spectacular. More work and definitly pick up the speed. I understand if you want to show the technique, but the slow movement seems to make it.... well generally less impressive. No offense.

ShinobiMystic Says:

Sep 3, 2008 - whatever!

SimplySpaztic Says:

Sep 9, 2008 - seriously.. im supprised ya aint missing any limbs all i seen of ya dance is mostly 1980 ninja movie copy. try not to give you attacks so much open swing sfit and clean mate or ya would get a sword or spear in ya side..

Sep 15, 2008 - to me, it was very well presented...im not officialy trained...i kind of do my own stuff with a wooden katana...i dont know whats good and whats not, though, as ive never actually fought anyone with any skill, and no one around here is actually into that stuff...so i just try to pick up on whatever i can, thanks!

ShinobiMystic Says:

Sep 16, 2008 - Yes, I have very little formal sword training. Not many people actually know the correct form of the sword. I have been using the blade for many years and I am trying to find out what works the best for me. this was filmed on a very very hot day. I hope you enjoyed it and thanks for watching.

raitei12110 Says:

Sep 24, 2008 - Ur joking, right?

SOABrigadePresident Says:

Sep 25, 2008 - For someone who has used the blade for many years you have a very weak grip. Either you haven't studied the sword for as long as you claim or you disregard all the videos avaliable online that teach you how to hold a sword/dagger. I recommend sparing with practice weapons if you want to self-teach yourself.

trolltrumman Says:

Sep 30, 2008 - The sideinfo saysd "The martial arts techniques illustrated in these video's (...)" I have now looked the whole thing thru ten times and I can't find ANY martial arts techniques at all.

ShinobiMystic Says:

Oct 2, 2008 - I am using the martial art Kendo, Japanese swordsman ship. I am also using martial arts foot work in my stepping and I am also using martial art knowledge to strike vital targets with my blade. Do you understand friend?

grade122 Says:

Oct 2, 2008 - not tryin to insult you bud.. but anyone can go into the woods and swing around a sword..

chunseonbass35 Says:

ShinobiMystic Says:

Oct 5, 2008 - Of course, but I was trying to actually try to practice my cutting.
