I listened to it while I was writing this, so maybe you shout let it play while you read to get the full effect like I did. --------------------------------------- An hour later, Kevin picked Sarah up and brought her to the bowling alley. Their lane was lane 27 and Kevin carried a bowling bag there. Sarah: (picking out her bowling ball) So, what did you want to talk to me about? Kevin: Not yet. I want to spoil this day. Sarah: (worried) Okay. (chooses a ball) Okay, I'll use this one. Kevin: No, you don't have to choose one! I brought my own, today. Sarah watched as Kevin put two black balls on the rack. [[Author's Note: What an awkward, perverted sentence. LOL, my cousin's here and he's a perv., he noticed that when I wrote it, so he told me to mention he said that.]]. When he swirled them over, she noticed they each had the huge JB logo on the front. Sarah: (giggles) They're so cool! Kevin: Huh? (smiles) Oh, yeah. They were birthday gifts to me. Sarah: Why do you have two? Kevin: Well, one was from a year ago and it got too small and light for me, so I got a new one this year. Sarah: Oh. Kevin: Ok, so ready to start? Sarah: (smiles) Yeah. Kevin threw first and got a strike, then Sarah and she got a split. The game ended with Sarah getting a 92 and Kevin getting a 114. They're now sitting at a table, sipping sodas. Kevin: We're good! Sarah: Uh correction--YOU'RE good. I suck. Kevin: (puts his thumb on her cheek and gently brushes it) No you don't. You were really good. Sarah: (smiles) Thanks. Kevin: So, uh, what I wanted to say... Sarah: Yeah, go on. ..::With Dana::.. Joe surprised Maria and picked her up shortly after Sarah was picked up. Dana was alone so she walked to the beach swung, lonely on the swings. She was looking into the water when someone sat on the swing next to her. She looked up. Dana: Nick! Nick: Hi... Dana: What's wrong? Nick: I have something to tell you. Dana: (upset) What is it? Nick: It's bad. Dana: Bad? Nick: Well....you know about the tour, right? Dana: Yeah... Nick: Well, it's taken a toll. A big toll. Dana: What? Nick: Everything shifted up a month and we're starting the tour in...Europe. Dana: Europe? You're leaving? Already? Nick: (looks down and nods) Dana: I knew this would happen. Nick: No, Dana, I like you, a lot. (kisses her) I'll talk to you everyday. Dana: (watches one of her tears hit the soft, warm sand) Nick: (stands up and sticks out his hand) Dana: (looks up, takes it and stands up, too) Nick: (hugs her) I'll miss you. Dana: I'll miss you, too. ..::With Joe and Maria::.. Joe took Maria to a spot on the rocks by the beach. Nowhere near Nick and Dana. They sat down and Joe took her hand. Maria: Uh oh. What's coming? Joe: Not good news. Maria: Oh no. Joe, tell me. Joe: Well, our tour's been tweaked. Maria: Tweaked? Joe: We're starting in Europe. Maria: No... Joe: Yeah. Joe watched Maria tears fall. This was all wrong, but it had to happen. He put out his hand) Joe: Do you want to dance? Maria: What? There's no music. Joe: So? Come on. Maria: (stands up and wraps her arms around him) The two dance there and Joe kisses holds her close. Suddenly, he starts humming "Inseparable". Maria: Why are you humming that song? Joe: It'll be our song. Maria: (smiles and puts her head back on his chest) --------------------------------------- How will Sarah take the news? Typing 17.
