Jun 7, 2008 - I wish I could help you, kneesare, but I stayed in a service apartment (found by my host) and had no need to research hotels and motels. I did buy a copy of Lonely Planet: South India, which I found very useful for tour guide info, and the book had a limited list of hotels, etc. Goodluck! Thanks for stopping by... ;-)

Overseas travel done well is a kind of time machine: you pack in a mini-lifetime, while for the folks at home a regular month goes by and nothing changes. Liked your comment "I don't anticipate doing much with YouTube while I'm gone." Apart from doubling your total video count & creating conversation for months, I guess that's true ;-)
