"Abby, I can't believe they asked you to be the head cheerleader again!" My friend Megan said as we strutted down the halls of Jackson High. Being the head cheerleader for my entire high school career put me at the tippy top of the social ladder. "Well what do you expect she is the best of the best." My other friend Ashley said. "Ha-ha I know." I said as I walked into Chemistry. I waved to a couple of friends and made my way to the back of the class room. Luckily I had a table to myself. The bell rang, and our evil chemistry teacher Mrs. Bird came in. Yeah I know funny name right. Her name fit her perfectly though, she did look a little like a bird. We weren't but a few seconds into the lesson when a new student came walking in. He handed her a little piece of paper. She looked at it for a moment, "I suppose there's room for you in the back next to Abby." Mrs. Bird stated and turned back to the board. He then made his way to the back and sat next to me. As soon as Mrs. Bird began rambling about useless info I decided to get to know more about this new kid. "So are you new here?" I asked acting interested. "Um no, I just transferred classes." He said. "Oh well what's your name?" I asked. "Kevin Jonas." He stated. We then began talking about just random stuff. "Hey you should sit with me at lunch." Kevin suggested. I guess spending one lunch with him wouldn't kill me. "Sure." I said. The bell then rang and we continued the rest of the day.
