Aug 13, 2008 - i agree it is a racist rule. sometimes i think this rule is doing us, blacks, favor because it helps increase our number in the us. However, i also find the rule as a way to discourage whites from marrying blacks because once they have a child together than the child will only belong the black race not the white race. so this rule kind of tells white "Hey if u marry a black person, then u ending your race"

It usually seems to be the other way so it was cool seeing your version of virtually the same pics in my albums :)My dad is actually Greek so I have the whole other level of language. I am fluent in Greek and that really freaks people out! It's like im not supposed to be able to speak it or something. I've learned to just see it as amusing rather than let it hurt me.

Oct 9, 2008 - you know... it was weird checking that because i do consider myself to be black (when it really comes down to it)I could never say that i could consider myself white. But checking that was maybe my way of stickin it to the one drop rule. Im pretty secure with who I essentially am; I just laugh at the stringent parameters of the "boxes" lol.
