"Do" Acoustic Cover of White Stripes This one has been a long time coming. Verse Chords: Basically, just E with G-F# at the ends of the couplets. End of the verse into the next: G (repeated)-B (repeated) back into the E riff. Bridge: Move off of the E to G-A (hold the A; then E riff at the end of the couplet--then G-A again. End moves from E at the end of the second couplet to B to E riff again. E Riff: E chord, then G string (2 pull off to 1)--do that twice the first time, but once the second time. The note run is just a basic Em scale. brokenbricks tabs it differently (and maybe correctly), but I just use: low E: 0h3 A: 0h2 D: 0h2 G: 0 (Yes, I'm beating on my guitar in the bridge). :)

Oct 18, 2008 - Nice one! I find playing this should be so simple yet it isn't without it sounding blocky & stilted. One of my faves! LB3

Oct 18, 2008 - Yeah, it took me a while to figure out just how I wanted to cover it for the video (mainly playing the solid E instead of the riff for the verses).
