I did this video partly for a contest on LJ, as well as partly because this song is by far one of my fondest memories of childhood movies...it's one of the few songs from the underrated environmental animated movie Ferngully, and is in the movie accompanied by one of the most entrancing romantic scenes I have ever seen in my life. So yes, off the bat, everyone who hasn't seen Ferngully, rent it. It has Tim Curry as a puff of smoke and Robin Williams as a demented bat who raps, for motivation. Anyway! This AMV I am not entirely pleased with...Sheena Easton, although I love her, does drag the song on a bit, and so making the clips flow was a bit of a challenge. But I hope you all will gather the point of the video, which is supposed to show how Ahiru is the glimmer of hope that reminds the rest of the characters of the dream worth keeping...Mytho getting his heart back and, later, a happy ending for all.
