the strain bubbleberry, as grown by a friend who is a colorado medicinal marijuana patient. the borg(farkin spider mites) infested his garden earlier this summer, he has been fending them off with neem oil sprayings, washing/spraying the leaves off in the shower and by using a more organic method with predator mites and ladybugs. because of the dry climate, even with a little humidifier in there the conditions werent great for the predator mites, but in addition to killing the spidermites yourself, the ladybugs do a decent job of keeping the little farkers under control. while it is not an instantaneous cure, it can turn a plant that was on the brink of being lost into something that is salvageable. music is toothpick spliffs by mc chris(you may know him as mc pee pants, et al. from the aqua teen hunger force).

Aug 11, 2008 - i should be making it back out to this grow here soon for an update. from what i hear the mites have been eradicated and the secondary branches have been getting so heavy from budgrowth that every day one or two more have to be tied up(the mains have been tied up for some time now).

Sep 15, 2008 - if you have the ability to maintain high humidity levels, one of the best things you can get are some predator mites. they are even more effective than the ladybugs.
