Oct 11, 2008 - There are many simple reasons. First of all and most obvious, the Acela looks NOTHING like this. Second, the Lake Shore Limited connection is the only Amtrak train that serves Framingham so the Acela wouldn't be here anyway. And third, this consist is unique to this train. There is no other train in the Amtrak system that uses this consist.
