While G was still in Haiti I sung a very simple song in Kreyol (nothing much more than "mommy loves Gyrlande, who? Mommy! Loves? Gyrlande! KISSSS!!!") and sent it to her on a push-button recorded photo frame, the size of a compact. i have many photos of her listening intently to it. she still likes to sing this with me to this day, and it will be special to us forever. This video was just over 2 months since coming home. She's now been home 1.75 yrs.
