He teaches you to "walk your own walk" and follow your own philosphy as opposed to "walk the walk of Jesus" and follow his teachings. Positive thinking is New Age teaching based on belief that you are your own god and have "magical" power to influence the Universe, but The Lord said that he is the only GOD of this universe. I doubt people buy into his stuff for spiritual growth. . . but rather for one reason only - love of money

Aug 3, 2008 - Many of the the sins you mention do cause horrible damage - especially adultery. In case of money, the KJV bible says "root of all evil"...not just "most" evil. If you trace the cause of any sin, somewhere along you will find money as at least one key cause. It got demoted to "all kinds of evil" in NIV bible (which many Chrsitians consider corrupted) probably because it makes TV evangelists feel better about themselves when they ask you to "sow a seed" with a monetary contribution.
