There are some scholars say that duff is allowed but some of these artists use other instruments which are not permissable. `There will be people of my Ummah who will seek to make lawful; fornication, wine-drinking and the use of ma`aazif ( musical instruments ). (Bukhari) and its not about giving fatwas its about commanding good and forbidding evil. Allah knows best
