(part 1) "According to reports, "Northern Downpour" will have a music video with Brendon Urie talking about single life. Ryan Ross has also confirmed that the song is about Brendon's failed relationship with a girl,from personal experience. The music video is expected to begin shooting sometime in early July 2008.

Jun 22, 2008 - well i would not understand why ryan would write about Brendon's experiences since ryan is the primary writer. i thought from reading the lyrics it was about ryans child hood hence many of the lyrics and talking about the moon not wanting to go down signifying a child who feels safe at night when he is alone in bed, or the line i know the worlds a broken bone , melt your headaches call it home, i don't know though and i guess most of there songs are about girls. well written song though!!

Jun 26, 2008 - i thought the same thing. but brendon apparently did most of the music on this song. and just cuz they do a video about brendon doesnt mean the song has to be about him. if they do in the video what the song is about, then ryan would be the main person in all the videos.
