Sometimes evidence is never found for events claimed to happen, and somethings are found that can't be explained (not necessarily supporting the bible) and if it doesn't agree with the standing beliefs of history, then it tends to get ignored. Their methodology is based mostly on assumptions and can't account for variables. I suggest reading "Forbidden Archeology" as an example of some of the contradictions that arise.
