~*~ VIDEO INFO HERE ~*~ this is just a basic guide on how to levl up mage, the songs I used are (in order) Paralyzer by Finger Eleven, The Pretender by Foo Fighters and Shimmy by System of a Down if you have any requests for other guides or whatever just send me a message over youtube and I'll see what I can do, thanks guys oh, and with the game update of the new mini game, fist of guthix, the robes I showed in the vid are no longer the best you can get, to get combat/druid robes, you have to earn tokens at fist of guthix, and buy them with those tokens, combat robes are for combat spells (i.e fire strike, fire bolt, fire blast) and druid robes are for curses (i.e confuse, bind) SUBSCRIBE!!!!! =D

Apr 10, 2008 - the wizard robes help you hit more oftan with magic, instead of them just splating, even if you hit a 0, it will still give you more exp then just a splat

Apr 12, 2008 - yeah you can train combat with it, but you dont get as much mage exp, just click the icon that has a sheild and a book, click the spell you want and go, it trains def and mage, but if you wanted to train mage and attack or str at the same time, thats a no can do :P my username is Johnmasten12

Jun 5, 2008 - high def yes but magic has somewhat of an effect on them, unless its fire magic for some reason. also, its mainly for the lower levels, so they dont have to worry about getting hurt yet still be able to train Magic Signifficantly

Jun 22, 2008 - god... if u want magic xp... put on the best armor you can(dragon hide works)and head over to fist of guthix(FOG) now use wind strike on you oponent, bc the thing with magic...(its like no other stat) no matter what u hit, even if it bubbles..you still get the full xp! (just not hp xp)and with using FOG u get F R E E!!! runes!!

Jun 22, 2008 - now i said use windstrike because it hits very rairly(when whering rune or d hide) and it gives 7xp each.. now u can test around with differant spells.. i just think that wind strike works best

Jul 4, 2008 - Well at low levels it's best to use rubbish spells on the lessor demon in the wizards tower. Cos like grayad says u get xp when u dont hit. Just buy lots of mind runes and air runes and use fire staff. I done that then alched all way up on mems. Stopped playing now cos of stupid updates, char was "shyentropy".
