Sep 14, 2008 - the fact that she had a tumor in her throat (of all places) just lets me know that she really is anointed and is using her blessing in a way that is pleasing to God. Satan doesn't try to stop the ones he already has. He's tired of her using her voice only to honor God. So because he put that illness in her throat (again, of all places lol!) she must be doing something right. Satan tried to stop her, he tried to test her faith but it didn't work.

Oct 3, 2008 - a throat tumor is very very serious for some one whose voice aka "whistle" is his or her major instument...it can mean that person loosing their voice permanently...the surgery has the possibility of damaging vocal chords or damaging the wind pipe...in essence this episode could have eventually lead to the end of her career...the fact that she was able to sing...no matter how possibly painful...it is a miracle that she still has the ability to riff it the way she did
