Feb 15, 2008 - Yes.. the evo has always been sick ass... mitsu is concentrating on more ppl friendly cars... the suby is not that good and it was never meant to be a ppls car although is is called a 4 door sedan... but did you know despite the fact that bothe these cars seem to be for rally racing, mitsu somehow or another created a safey feature... the chassis is more inforced than the suby... all this comes to show the evo is just the good car... and its a wise thing that mitsu did... fast is not always good

Feb 17, 2008 - Its funny in all the new videos comparing these 2 cars it shows the STi coming out on top in most if not all the comparisons. Even though a video is always the best proof people say that they saw in a magazine it does this and it does that, and that on paper yadayadayada. Dont some of you guys think that what some of the writers put in some of these articles might be a lil biased because of their preferences. Seeing is believing fellas.

wegotmorrison Says:

Feb 21, 2008 - The japan spec STi is faster, however the one we get has got a different engine with a messed ecu tune from the factory that makes a lot slower. Of the US spec cars the EVO is definetly still dominant. Plus the new STi is ugly as all get out.

espijj Says:

Feb 22, 2008 - this sti is a 2.0 litre thats why it revs up to 8k

hrtfjyy Says:

Mar 8, 2008 - the evo is the best in all ways

Mar 8, 2008 - the evo is the best in all ways

trackx07 Says:

Mar 8, 2008 - the old evos had a 2.0liter and it only revved up to 7k, it just depends what the engine can handle

espijj Says:

Mar 9, 2008 - all evo's are 2.0 the 4g63 has been used in evo for over 12 years

espijj Says:

Mar 9, 2008 - all evo's are 2.0 the 4g63 has been used in evo for over 12 years

trackx07 Says:

Mar 9, 2008 - not the new evo's, i can't remember if they still use a 2.0 liter, but it's not the 4g63 anymore. The last evo to have that was the evoIX

eushicumn Says:

Mar 10, 2008 - is 2.5

eSHARPtrypants Says:

Mar 16, 2008 - the new sti looks so fucken ugly!, the new Evo X looks hella tight, my bro has a Lancer GTS and it looks like a twin to the X, just a worse engine

TheGreenCivic Says:

Mar 20, 2008 - bben411 is correct. The New Evolution X/10 is using the new 4B11 all aluminum 2.0L DOHC MIVEC Turbocharged engine as its powerplant.

trackx07 Says:

Mar 20, 2008 - ahh so it still is a 2.0 liter, just to lazy to look it up again. i still like the 4g63 engine better, but i still love the evo!

kaboom333 Says:

Mar 30, 2008 - y? This one is shit tons better. Its not all cast iron, it has aluminum. And if it weren't for the weight then this one would be faster.

trackx07 Says:

Mar 30, 2008 - i've just always loved the 4g63 engine more, it's so small but yet can handle tons of hp, i doubt the new 4b11 engine will be able to do the same

sti302man Says:

Mar 31, 2008 - only children use the word hella.

carcrazy1234 Says:

Mar 31, 2008 - eSHARPtrypants... sadly the new evo SST is slower than the 5 speed manual evo X, AND the older GSR evo the new sti is faster than all of them AND the older STI round a track (best motoring) i was surprized... and dissapointed :( i liked the looks of the new evo :(

8eVoEiGhT Says:

Apr 4, 2008 - agree....the new sti model is to..boring then agin the evo looks like a..fish or something idk neather of them win...!

ayameiz4u Says:

Apr 4, 2008 - anyone know the name of the song?

kingramsu Says:

Apr 13, 2008 - the new sti shouldn't have been a hatchback... should play fair and be a sedan so that competition between the evo and sti stays fair.. cutting off a boot for lesser weight will definitely give an advantage in the performance category.. but otherwise.. both look amazingly sexy.. thank god the sti lost its golden wheel plates.. they looked absolutely ghastly.. what do you think guys...??

kingramsu Says:

Apr 13, 2008 - funny.. was just reading the car specs.. the sti is infact heavier that the evo.. hmmm.. maybe that's why they cut off the boot...!!!
