Neither the champions of the workers: the Unions (those dodos) nor the plutocrats, intend to kick this cow. Jul 6, 2008 - many tend to sympathise with lowell mostly on the immigration issue, but i'm a great supporter lowell views on work. first of all, he's the only person in malta who speak out his revolutionary ideas on the work-ethic and off course he's right on this one too. the 40hour week is a farse. we can easily have a some production with 20hrs a week. no one can possibly work out for a whole 8 hours. those who say so, are simply liars or burocrats. 4 hours of work in the morning are more than enough!

The maltese public is so politically poor that its not prepared for alternative thinking. all members of parliament have a vague idea of politics and thus malta is very late on many issues, divorce, gay rights, taxation and so on. Your efforts werent wasted since after some time people relised that many things you forsaw become reality. well done
