Jan 4, 2008 - After 6 months of a low-oxalate diet, my autistic son no longer has asthma, food or seasonal allergies, eczema, and he is off Ritalin. The dark circles under his eyes disappeared almost immediately, and he began to fill out and look healthy. His stools improved, and we had several months of huge social gains. The benefits appear to have stuck, as he has been off the diet for a year now. We are going to put him back on it this month to see if we can get the social improvements to stick.
