I certainly don't believe in picking sides generally, see Patricia Sun, but its the rules of the game in electing the president. The ruling class is entrenched, but they can be better or worse. Diplomacy is better than war. The president sets a tone for the country, too: see Barack's speech on religion. Do you think McCain is capable of that?

Ron Paul is *associated with* christian reconstructionists, some of whom are genuinely theocracy advocates. Ron Paul also backed Ronald Reagan. Iran-Contra occurred under his watch. Should we blame Paul for the murder and contempt of law that were a part of Iran-Contra?
