ok so i was talkin' to my friend about living in 北角 in our childhood days. suddenly this 70year-old-man's voice yellin' "買衣裳竹" came on my mind. back then he used to sell laundry bamboos around the block, he would yell on the top of his lungs so everybody in the hood would hear. when the sound of the words get to my house, it's got layers of echoes accumulated from miles away. and this is phuckin' awesome dancehall chanting sound. i wish i could record a sample of that voice. damn. the old man's prolly dead now. and who still use bamboo sticks to hang their clothes these days..?
