Miranda has been trying to get Joe's attention all week but some how Lindsey kept coming between them. Miranda began to think. What's Lindsey really like? How close were they when they were together? Does Joe still have feelings for her? Miranda got ready for the dance. She was in a silky dark blue dress. It was spaghetti strap and very elegant. It just passed her knees. She wore black strappy high heels on. Also with hoop earrings on, she straightened her hair. She looked beautiful. She looked herself in the mirror. "Am I good enough" Miranda asked herself. She wanted to know if she was good enough...for Joe. *At the dance* Kevin, Nick, Chelsea, Amy, and Miranda were sitting on one table. "This dance is incredible" Amy said holding Kevin's hand "You look great" Kevin said smiling. Amy smiled back "You guys should be dancing" Miranda shouted trying to talk over the music "We don't want to leave you here"-Chelsea "Where's Joe"-Amy "He's dancing with Lindsey" Nick said pointing to where Joe was "He should be dancing with his GIRLFRIEND"-Chelsea "Come on you guys just go dance. I feel bad making you guys just sit here"-Miranda Nick held out his hand in front of Chelsea and she took it. The same happened with Kevin and Amy. After ten minutes sitting alone Nick and Chelsea came back to the table "Would you like to dance" Nick said offering his hand to Miranda and trying to be a good friend "Yea Miranda. You have to dance once" Chelsea said trying to be convincing "No I can't"-Miranda "It's okay"-Chelsea "They don't call it a dance for nothing"-Nick said still holding out his hand. Miranda finally took it It was a slow dance. Every time Miranda would see Joe, he had his arms wrapped around Lindsey. He acted as if he didn't have a girlfriend. Miranda kept looking at them over Nick's shoulder. Halfway through the song Miranda saw Joe and Lindsey walk out. She didn't bother to follow them...she just couldn't walk away from Nick. "You shouldn't be treated like this" Nick whispered into Miranda's ear. "What do you mean" she whispered back "How can Joe dance with another girl right in front of you"-Nick "Apparently without a care in the world"-Miranda "You shouldn't let him do that to you...you deserve respect"-Nick Miranda didn't respond. She laid her chin on Nick's shoulder and thought hard about what he said. The song was over and everyone was clapping. "Thanks Nick. I'm gonna go get some fresh air"-Miranda "Okay"-Nick. Chelsea got out of her seat to go back to dancing with Nick "Thanks" Miranda said while passing Chelsea "Sure thing" Chelsea said back Miranda took a deep breath when she went out of the dance. She walked down the hall as she looked at the lockers. The she noticed Joe and Lindsey. She quickly hid behind a wall and peeked to see what they were doing, her eyes were wide open.
