After I watched it I couldn't stop crying because it was so shocking and I felt so identified. As of today, 10 years later, I can't stop thanking Ellen Degeneres for such a brave thing to do for her and for all of us. She is my hero!

Apr 18, 2008 - When this show was on, I was still a kid. My mom would watch this show and i would watch it with her. Then one night my mom said that we couldn't watch it anymore because it wasn't good anymore. For the last 10 years, I have been struggling with "not being good anymore" in the eyes of my peers and family. Only the truth is that they do not know I am gay yet. Once I'm a little further into college, I plan to tell everyone. Thank you Ellen for showing us how to take that first plunge.

Jul 28, 2008 - From what I read,in the UK when the Puppy episode was aired the tv channel showing it made a real fuss over it.A big showcase. Today it wouldn't receive this kind of treatment. It all seems rather tame now hearing what happened surrounding that episode. Interesting to note Anna Heche finshing Ellens sentence for her..not! I don't think we'll get to see Portia and Ellen together under the sheets for tv? or have I missed something!? lol
