Dear comrades subscribers and friends of this channel. Dear viewers. After 5 months of dull military service at the borders I finally managed to get some days off and create this humble video. I am sorry I will not invest more time in video editing but my time here is too little and too precious. There are so many people I care about and I have not seen for months so I cannot spend more time in front of my monitor. I will take the time however to share some of my experiences with you. Military service is tiring and boring. Military service at the borders is intolerable. Try to imagine yourself in a place far away from home where your life could end at any second. Imagine the borders as a thin red line separating your superior noble civilization from the barbarian races. Imagine their savage hordes standing right there and waiting for the right time to invade and wipe your noble nation of the face of the earth starting from you! Imagine all the monstrious amount pain you will suffer should you fall alive in their hands and end up in their torture chambers. Imagine your legendary motherland turning into dire piles of ruins and corpses should your enemies prevail. Then and only then can you understand and appreciate the greatness of your mission....... BULLSHIT !!! There is only one thing I can assure you. I am so fuckin wasting my time there and frankly there are many more directly dangerous factors to worry about than the Turks. 1. The heat. Under the Hot July sun you can feel everything boiling around you. After 2 hours in your guard post you end up totally dirty and sweaty you are litterally soaking sweat. 2. Mosquitoes. OK these things must be mutated I cannot otherwise explain how they grow so huge. We call them "stuckas" in resemblace to the german fighter planes. They can even bite you through the uniform and leave you red marks which you want to scratch all the time. 3. The diseases. The river lies just next to you. Heat and moist combined create a heaven on earth for all kinds of germs. The jungles of Vietnam are dry deserts compared with the Greek borders (ok I am exxagerating a bit). Furthermore we live in the dirtiest of chambers you can imagine. Some sheets and blankets have not been washed for 50 years (yes that's half a century) and you can imagine what happens there. So let's get to number 4. Bugs. All our beds are filled with bugs eager to bite you everywhere. I 've got my descent amount of bite marks in my arms legs and neck. These combined with the mosquito bites make me look kinda like a leper. And lt's finish with the most fatal. 6. Our coock! His poisonous meals are the shortest way to get sick nad puke. As you understand having all these in mind leaves you liitle to worry about possible invaders. Anyway from where I am standing I have never seen a Turk. And I am kinda certain that those who serve on the other side of our borders are as bored and as eager to finish and return home as I am and do not really care about invading my country. Luckily any time now I will be transfered to another army camp closer to my hometown and I will not have to worry about germs bugs and diseases any more. Another 200 dull and boring days are at hand. Until my next day of I bid you all a warm farewell For Greeks
