This was an animation I made for my Grade 11 Animation Class in the school year of 2006-2007. The assignment had to do with rotoscoping, and we were to achieve it by getting a video clip that we had made before, break it up into individual frames, bring those frames into Photoshop, apply filters and the like, batch-process the entire set of frames, and re-join them into a single movie file via another program. In my case, I used a short clip (4 seconds, to be exact) of a biped doing a "Drunken Walk" that I had animated out of experimentation/boredom earlier in Discreet 3dsmax 7. I then broke it into individual frames using a combo of iMovie and iPhoto if I remember correctly (I am usually a PC man, but my high-school had more Macs than PCs in the computer lab). In Photoshop, I'm pretty sure I just used the Sharpen filter alot to get that "rainbow-static" effect (my memory fails me here). Lastly, I used a combo of iPhoto and iMovie again to put the whole thing together, and used a variety of movie filters/transitions to make it longer/interesting. The song used is Flathead by The Fratellis. Enjoy! =)
