Mar 25, 2008 - When I was on Vacation in Jamaica we met a nice Bitish couple, they were great! They were also old so maybe thats why they were so tame... My family has friends that live in England and I was actually named after one of my dads good friends there, so I love the British and wish I could afford a trip over!

Mar 25, 2008 - I think its a case of a small minority in confined areas. Living in stag/holiday hot spots the likes of blackpool, Whitley Bay, Edinburgh etc to name a few you'll generally see more at least notice drunken behavours like you mentioned alot more. Poeple tend to let loose and go overboard when the go away unfortunately some go to far. When you think about how many people go out and how many people do these things the numbers are small Unfortunately it's the minority that spoil it for the majority

Mar 25, 2008 - You find that in every tourist town - I have no rest over the weekend till three - four o'clock in the morning. Being British I find it a shame that my fellow citizens are so embarrassing when they had something to drink. Amongst a lot of comedians and actors I met Terry Pratchett and he left a deep impression on me. This man has a whole Universe in his head and then some and yet he is down to Earth and one of the most charming fellows you'd ever like to meet

freeepeace Says:

Mar 25, 2008 - haha "If you could just fax him back...that would be grand!" "Ricked In?" Nah - you're way too cool for that. I spent 10 days in London about (cough cough) years ago and it was lovely. I guess my experience of the natives was fairly neutral. Then again, it was the city. I imagine like most large cities, London is a melting pot.

Mar 26, 2008 - lmao trying to use sxephil's ending! I've only met one british guy on holiday and he wasn't to bad. But honestly he was DRUNK... And to end this comment. I can't think of the most interesting person i've ever met.. maybe if i think of it later i'll post another comment.

AppleTrailers Says:

Mar 29, 2008 - Hi Rick!I'm from Sweden, and I don't think I've ever met a british person on a holiday,BUT I have been in London once and the people I met and talked to were very nice indeed.Although I didn't meet any drunk ones,so. The most interesting person I have ever met, that's a hard queston.well, right now it's probably a guitarist named Anders(which is a typical swedish name) I talked to him after a show and he was very nice and down to earth and he played so well and he was just interesting in general

nhbpoet Says:

Mar 31, 2008 - My ex girlfriend's dad is British. I hated him, but that was probably because he was my girlfriend's dad... My English teacher from high school was British too. He was really cool and an excellent teacher. There was one time that we went on a week long trip with him and he got drunk every night. But he wasn't too rowdy so I can't say that I've ever seen a crazy drunken British person.

musicalcharms Says:

Apr 2, 2008 - hmm, my thought on britons on holiday. does Jude Law from "The Holiday" count? haha, jk. well, the only british people i've encountered were a couple soccer playing college guys; and this was in a bank, so they really couldn't be outrageously drunk. =)but they were extremely friendly and outgoing. so yeah, that's about it. besides the fact that my friend had a crush on them solely bc of their accent. =) as far as meeting someone interesting, i tend to forget people i've met. =/ bad memory =)

BreanneBlasphemy Says:

Apr 5, 2008 - You are quite hilarious. I laugh a lot when I watch these. Just that witty banter I guess. haha keep it up.

englishnationalist Says:

Apr 6, 2008 - Britain is traditionally a beer drinking nation, and has been bred into many brits usually to drink heavily after battle (back in the old days). These days its usually after work or on holiday. I think the rowdyness and superior attitude of many brits abroad (football fans etc) is due to the mentality of the British empire: a superior feeling and mentality over non-Brits. This will take decades to breed out of British people as on a historical level the empire only collapsed yesterday.

LAsInZach Says:

Apr 9, 2008 - "You've just been rick'ed in. that doesn't work. I need to come up with a f*cking catchline" That's hilarious. I haven't much time now, but maybe I'll post a vid back about the british later. Haven't had one piss on my mom yet, but there's always tomorrow.

0c4pnh4nk Says:

Apr 15, 2008 - I've only met 2 Britons, as a matter of fact, I am writing this now with a British accent in my head. Adaren is very philosophical and that's annoying to me. Um, and the other was a sweet blond-haired lady from Yorkshire or so she told me. I thought she was a Russian spy to be honest. I have not met any on vacation. I do not get those being a student and all - which brings me to the second point, which I will have to begin a new comment for.

0c4pnh4nk Says:

Apr 15, 2008 - I have not been anywhere outside of North America, yet. However, I will sometime and not many Canadians can say they have been to every province in Canada. As I have done that, I am in the clear, for now. I really want to check out Berlin though. And thirdly, the most interesting person I have ever met is, well, everyone I meet. I know that's kind of lame, but everyone I know has quite a character. If we're going for someone famous then I'd have to say, Rick Mercer.

abbccjns Says:

Apr 17, 2008 - sorry im not answering any of your questions but haha i loved the end, yea the *name here* ined thing pretty much doesnt work for many people besides phil haha it was hilarious

mysteriousexistence Says:

Apr 28, 2008 - hahahaha can I just say... I haven't watched your video yet as it's still loading cause my internets being crappy n slow but i love your hair I just wanna poke it

mhss0001 Says:

May 2, 2008 - Hey rick, I'm from Canada, and the last time i came across english tourists was this past march break when i was on holiday in venice. one night we were walking back to the hotel, and we saw three very fat, very drunk, and very english men stumbling out of a bar, singing attempting to flirt with some American women. the sight of them did make me laugh, so yeah, they made me feel better about being Canadian.

goddambusernamething Says:

May 13, 2008 - well im a brit and unlike other british counter parts im not an alcafrolic and tend to keep myself to myself because, quite frankly they scare the shit out of me, im with the scotts and other such countrys brits really need to grow up... i did :D

ScarletSkies Says:

May 27, 2008 - I am going to post an entirely irrelevant comment just so you will fax JoJo to me. And I won't fax him back. Because he's cute. If you want him, you'll have to come over here and get him. :P

i1kil9ppl8for6alivin Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - how do u know its not the locals who piss on your door or car lol ive heard the scots like a drink or two themselves you know!

i1kil9ppl8for6alivin Says:

Jul 5, 2008 - its just stereotyping to say that all brits behave badly abroad. but i will admit that we did ruin ibiza lol. And malia & magalouf etc are on the verge i think. but its the chavs with no respect that give us the worst rep. mind you...that was just stereotyping!

boohannahandmegan Says:

Jul 25, 2008 - i dont know or have met any british people, but i heard they were high up on a list of bad tourists. It was on the news i think. But I can say anything from experience. I dont think they'd be any worse than any other country. We all go a little bit crazy on vacation.
